Deictic adverbs are constructed by combining the word ''ann'' (possibly the 3rd person masculine inflected form of the preposition ann, although that is inconsistent with the related pattern in [[Modern Irish]]) with one of the [[Demonstratives|demonstrative particles]]: ''seo, sin, siud''.
