Muriel Fisher is a Native of Glendale on the Island of Skye, and a native speaker of Scottish Gaelic. She is a writer, language teacher, and media personality. She runs the Tucson Gaelic Institute and is a regular Gaelic language instructor at both Sabhal Mòr Ostaig and The University of Arizona. She is Co-Principle Investigator (Research Specialist Snr.), on the Gaelic Syntax Project
