Gaelic typically refers to one of the three languages:
- Scottish Gaelic (when pronounced [gɑlɪk])
- Modern Irish (when pronounced [gejlɪk])
- Manx
Less accurately it is sometimes used to refer to other Celtic languages such as Modern Welsh
