Nominative-Accusative Case,Genitive Case,Dative Case and Vocative Case


Nominative and accusative

  • Gaelic does not make any distinction between nominative and accusative case for full DPs including pronominals.
Chunnaic an cu an cat.
see.pst the dog the cat
'The dog saw the cat.'
Chunnaic an cat an cu.
see.pst the cat the dog
'The cat saw the dog.'
