Adverbs in Gaelic can be formed by using the inflectional morpheme 'gu,' or can follow a preposition. However, many Adverbs in Gaelic are non-inflected, and thus occur as fixed phrases.

great/ large > greatly
can take intensifiers "glè" (very), and "ro"'extremely:
