Prepositional Phrase (definition)

The syntactic element that consists of a preposition (which expresses spatial relation or indicates syntactic functions or semantic roles) and it’s constituent or compliment. The compliment is typically a noun phrase that is relating to the rest of the sentence or phrase through the preposition.
