Note: 1. The future dependent form of Abair is rarely used, instead use the forms of 'can': An can thu? Cha chan thu. Nach can thu?, An canadh tu? cha chanadh, nach canadh? An canainn? An canadhmaid?<<<CHECK>>> Can! Canaibh! 2. In spoken Gaelic the past tense particle do is reduced to d' before rug, but is written do prescriptively.
